On Jan. 8, 2008 we did a major revision of the MAREO list server. This revision was made necessary by changes in NEON domain boundaries and an increasing number of obsolete addresses in the list. You can subscribe to the new list

Dear MAREO Folks,
There was a very important COREO meeting in November, and the NEON planning project is racing along. I urge you all to check in at the MAREO.org web site to get caught up on recent NEON developments. I especially call your attention to two recent documents posted under "MAREO Executive Committee Activity" on the left menu bar - COREO Minutes and MAREO Report
Explore COREO at NEONCOREO .org and NEON planning at NEONInc.org
MAREO will be holding a general meeting it the end of February 2006 in Front Royal. Dates, agenda, and a call to action will come ASAP in the new year.
Best wishes to you all during the holiday season,
The MAREO Executive Committee

For those of us interested in interdisciplinary environmental science and environmental policy, the 11th International Interdisciplinary Conference on the Environment will be held June 23-25 in Orlando FL. This conference is sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Environmental Association, an international group of academics, practitioners, and interested citizens who approach environmental issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. The conference routinely has dozens of different disciplines and countries represented, yet it is small enough that there is a significant amount of discussion and feedback from many perspectives. For further information, submission instructions, and/or to download the conference registration form, go to the IEA website. The abstract deadline is April 30, 2005.
